I appreciate the food cans; they met my expectations. The lengthy delivery time doesn’t bother me much. After all, I opted for the FREE shipping.

What’s got me worried is that the credit card I used had a zero balance. I thought, no biggie, $50 for two cans with free shipping, and I’d just add some cash to the card next week. I hadn’t touched that card in the last three months. I’m pretty sure this is the only place I’ve used it.

Next thing I know, my credit card company is reaching out to me about some suspicious charges of around $150 each from outside the good old US of A. Big shoutout to the credit card company for keeping an eye on things. I suspect someone’s security has been compromised.

I plan to pass this on to my son.

And to top it off, shipping was free. I also ordered a similar item from another company on the same day, and I'm still waiting for it to show up nearly a week later, and I forked out $15 for shipping!!

I put in my order on a Monday and, believe it or not, it showed up the very next day! The customer service agent confirmed that the Mountain House Seafood Chowder I was interested in is being phased out. They also shared what was left in stock, and I decided to grab it all! Living on the Central Coast of Oregon, clam chowder is a big deal around here. My husband and I reckon that Mountain House Seafood Chowder is just as tasty, if not better, than what you can find locally.
